Anyone willing to share an Eagle-drawn SX design?

Hello all,

I'm trying to do my first "proper" PCB in Eagle -- I must admit that I don't always find Eagle very intuitive. :-(

Would anyone who's done a relatively simple SX design in Eagle (even just the schematic would help) be prepared to share?

My design's for a tiny MicroSumo controller using the SSOP SX28 at its core.

Thanks in advance for any help and Happy New Year!

I have an SX-28 board and a SX-18 board which are both 'single-sided' and without a schematic file.
I will try to figure out how to post them later today.

I got started by just laying out parts.
The schematic file requires that you acquire some knowledge of the inventory of components and where they are.
And, it adds a lot to the number of choices you have to make - even when you don't understand.

In the beginning that can slow you down quite a bit and if you just want to draw and print something - you can skip drawing schematic.
The only thing to know is that you cannot add a schematic later.

I have actually build both the boards and they really enhanced my desire to build more and to buy the $50·licensed version of Eagle.·
It is a great little program and I really don't need much more.

After that - You must start over from scratch to properly create a schematic which then will create a board.

If you want to just create a schematic for study, try to do a simple voltage regulator layout and then have the software autoroute.
There is really not need to get hung up in something complex to do a beginning Tutorial project.
You will have enough surprises to keep you busy.
