Can Basic Stamp interface with flash drive? And what is max IO?

I've just started exploring the possibility of using Basic Stamps for small island automation in our startup manufacturing plant. I have a Professional Development kit and the BS2P to play with. As indicated in the subject, I have two questions; what is the maximum IO for any stamp product and is there any way to interface any stamp product with a flash drive?
