Archive Forum always shows with "unread messages" icon.

Not that it matters much, as I have learned to ignore it, but is there a way to get the Archive forum marked as read?· The orange circle with the "N" is distracting...

post-edited: Oops, sorry John. I didn't focus on the point you made that it is the "archive" forum which remains "unread". You're correct --the listserver seems to not (be able to?) keep track of whether it's been "read" or not. PAR

At the top right of each forum's main·page, click the button (text) that says "Mark this forum read".

The reason the orange "new" flags appear in the left column of each forum is because you haven't (yet) read every single (i.e., old) message in the respective forum(s). (The unread postings are old, but would be "new" to you if you haven't read them.)

Just to let you know, I've used the mark all forums read link and I still get that there's a new post. If you go to the archive forum, the first post has a date of 5/15/2013...so the post will always be "new."
