Has anyone come across tiny actuators. Ive looked thru numerous manufacture websites but there mostly for larger applications.

    allelectronics.com has an auto door lock actuator for $5.50. Its part DLA-1. It moves a plunger with an attachment hole about .75 inches.

    Not trying to start another "Batwave" thread (just kidding), but what kind (besides small) actuator are you after, and how tiny is tiny?

    When I think of actuators, I think of everything that moves, including motors, linear actuators on rails, hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders and motors, solenoids (as mentioned above), servos, etc.

    There is also the "Muscle Wire" I was looking for (and found) in another thread.
