Programmable MESSAGE CLOCK for $20

I went to CVS last night and to my surprise they have $20 Programmable Message Clocks. It looks like the ones that Target stores sold last year for $40. I bought mine from Brookstone over a year ago for $100. I simply can't believe they can sell something with all the same features for $20.

These allow you to program up to 4 personal messages with them "Floating" in mid air.

Radio Shack sells a similar one that is more like a Propeller clock for $50.

However, what I have seen on the web for Programmable Message clocks is that you can't find one less than $40 with most being around $60+.

Just thought I would pass the word out as I am very interested in LED moving display signs.

PS: You may want to call as I found out later they are being bought out fast. At $20 you can't go wrong.

    Tim,
Thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to stop after work and see if they have one in my area.

If anyone wants one and can't find one at CVS, I bought an extra one and will ship it to you for $30 total cost.

I was in Wallgreens yesterday·and on the clearance rack·was a silver version of the Programmable LED Clock w/ moving display sign (different manufacturer but identical in the look and way it looks). It was normally $24.95 but on clearance for $15 and it rang up as $13. I bought it as there was only 1 left. It works great and actually I like it better than the $100 I originally bought at Brookstone because it uses 3 AAA for battery backup and it uses slightly larger LEDs for a little bigger display than my Brookstone one.

This one like the others mention is unique in that the letters appear to "float" in the air and for·$13 it is a great deal!

CVS is a national pharmacy and drug store chain like Wallgreens is.

Thanks, Looks like I would have to go to California or Montana for a CVS, but we do have Wallgreens out in the PNW.

I know CVS's are in NY and KY and maybe MD. Maybe it's an east coast thing.

CVS is nationwide, though not in some states, the only lower 48 states which do not have a CVS are WA, OR, ID, CO, UT, WI and·WY.
