I am kinda new at·robotics and I would like some guidance... I have a project where I have 21 servos to control, and I would like to program it·in basic.· What specific control hardware would be best for this?

When you say BASIC, I assume you mean PBASIC?· You could use the Parallax Servo Controller to handle up to 16 servos and by daisy-chaining them you could handle up to 32.· You can find this product at the following web page:

Servo controller boards as slave units.
Usually these can be daisy channed together.

The Bluebell Co-processor is a good one and allows very fine control in the form of 'ramping'. The input is serial, so a BasicStamp can easily control it and be free to do other things [such as handle sensors.]

Try www.bluebelldesign.com for details.

Parallax has one 16 servos and ramping too.
