Source for breadboard headers

Where can I find a source for the type of headers supplied with the Parallax kits, servos, etc.? I've found plenty of sources for PC board headers, but I'm looking for ones that have long pins on each side. The PC board headers don't seat properly in my breadboard given the short pins--flipping them over seats them better, but then the connection is too short to be dependable...

THANKS!

Mike

You can probably use the headers you already own by simply moving the black plastic pin holder - it's only pressed on the pins. Just press down on the plastic pin holder with a Perf board or an unpopulated PC board with holes on 0.100 in centers.

Of course! Should have tried that before posting. The pins are still a little shorter than desired, but works just fine.

    Thanks a bunch!

FYI, found exactly what I needed at Mouser: 3M .100" Pin Strip Header, PN 929834-02-36, Mouser #517-834-02-36. 36 pin version costs 1.39 and snaps apart nice and clean into the small form factors I need (2 and 3 pin).

Combined with the Molex KK connectors I also ordered at the time, my breadboard projects are stylin' and my 'bot is looking fine cool.gif
