Where and How do you get all these chips????

Greetings one and all!
I'v read·about·1/8 of all the threads and posts here and all I can say is... WOW...
so much info·& helpful people in one place... Kewl!

I use Digital Works V3.0·to do my 'digital homework', and can simulate most any IC, as long as I can get the logic for it, but my lib is rather small.· Most everyone in here talks about this chip, that chip or this thing and that thing.· I did a google on some of the more interesting things so I could see how they react / connect digitaly, and discovered that either you have a HUGE wallet, or some other thing going on, because this stuff adds up fast!

Ok... where do you get some / most of your goodies, espically when on a budgit?

SWMBO has made it clear, I'm not to use 'family' resources for my fun...

KK

Thing is, the more I search online the more I spend. But the more I learn the better I feel and then I buy more to celebrate

Is this thread BASIC Stamp related?· If it's not we will have to move it to the Sandbox forum.

Also www.newarkinone.com has specialty chips by smaller manufacturers not carried by the big guys metron pointed to. The findchip.com site is great for searching all the major suppliers in one fell swoop.
