· Hi

·I wanna drive a voltage motor (rating 4.5V). I have Basic Stamp 2 and DAC0832LCN. Can anyone teach me how to build and run a DAC circuit in BS2. Thx a lot.

The DAC will not directly drive the motor.· It can't provide enough current, so you will need to do a little more research on how you want to drive the motor exactly.· Seems like you're trying to use voltage for speed control, where PWM would be a better solution in most cases.

Hi Chris. Thx for ur reply. It's correct. I'm trying to use voltage for speed control. Can you please give me some links about using PWM ?

This link covers PWM control, but you will need to look around (try Google) for driver circuits for your motor.

Do you want the capability to reverse the motor?

    · Hi

·Thx for your replies, mates. I don't wanna reverse the motor. I just wanna change the speed·of motor. I've used one motor miniature from Farnell (MM18). However, I dun know the coil resistance of this motor. That's why I can not choose the suitable transistor and resistor for:
