here is the documentation for many Stamp projects and programs

    http://http://www.parallax.com/html_pages/downloads/basicstamps/documentation_basic_stamp.asp

Pbasic specifically refers to the Stamp porgramming language. Click on the "Help" tab in the Pbasic editor.·If you dont have the Pbasic editor download this document:

·BASIC Stamp Windows Editor version 2.2.5 (8.57 MB)
    Windows 98/ME/NT4.0/2K/XP. With BS1 Support!

located at the following link: http://http://www.parallax.com/html_pages/downloads/software/software_basic_stamp.asp

    Good luck!

G is the current revision number of the little green circuit board that carries the Stamp chips. They make small revisions on the circuit board as chip and processing technology advances. The revision number does not really make any difference to you.

The link should be (without the extra http).

Look there, as the BASIC Stamp manual v2.2 is a "must have". If you can, get hold of a printed copy. It is the main reference manual. Also download the "BASIC Stamp Frequently Asked Questions", and if you are looking for project ideas, download "Stampworks", and if you need a good tutorial to get you started, download from the Stamps in Class site, "What is a Microcontroller". There is so much out there, both online and in book form, to keep you busy for a long time!! Have fun.

I see most of your questions have been answered, but please try to use meaningful subject lines in future posts.· "Help!" isn't really meaningful, but I changed it for you this time.

    Lin,

·· No problem, also, if you were looking for a tutorial on the BASIC Stamp, rather than just reference material, please see the following link.· At the bottom of the page is a free download in PDF format.· This is our "What's A Microcontroller?" guide.

There are two excellent PowerPoint tutorials on the Educational Downloads page. Here's the link:

    www.parallax.com/html_pages/edu/downloads/downloads.asp

You can download a PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft. Here's the link:

    www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=428d5727-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&displaylang=en

Request for Parallax: Could somebody add a link for the Educational Downloads to the main Downloads submenu? The Edu downloads are easy to overlook for people who don't visit the Education pages, but the material there is excellent, especially for those who prefer a more multimedia based learning approach. Thanks.
