DS1302 clock/calendar

· The DS1302 does its work in Binary Coded Decimal (BCD).· Is it necessary to convert the input data (date, month, year, etc) into BCD before I shift it into the clock or can I transfer it to the 1302 in decimal and the 1302 will do the rest?

    The 1302 will work with HEX2 format as well s BDC.· Input your clock paramteres·as HEX2 variable, shiftout the variable, and display as HEX2 variable.
