Okay, this may be off topic here but I did not know where to place it.

I have placed about 100 parts for order on Parallax. Then I left the computer and stay out for about two hours or so. When I returned there was no parts in my checkout ! :-(

How much time do I have to complete an order ? Do I need to complete the full order and then click checkout·as soon as possible·?

    Hello,

·· This is definately off-topic here.· Any secure order page will time-out to protect the users information.· While I don't know off-hand what the amount of time is, you should really defer these questions to our webmaster via e-mail.

    inaki,

Yep, the order page is definitely on a timer - I found this out the same way you did, but I had to step away from my computer for only about 10 minutes or so. But like Chris said, it's a safety feature designed to protect you and your information, so I appreciate having it in place.

With a parts order as large as yours, it would be nice to have an ordering feature where you can just type in part numbers and quantities on one page, rather than having to navigate to each products page and click "add to cart." But this is a minor inconvenience to most of us. In your case you may want to call the Parallax sales team directly and place the order.

    Cheers,

    Steve

I just placed my largest Parallax order earlier this week.··Prior to the order, I locacted each item web page and put it·into a favorites folder -- that way I could take my time surfing for items·and then·the ordering process went very quickly later, when only the quantities needed to be adjusted when going from page to page.· That method seemed to work well for me.
