Analog signals

···· I'm new to the Basic Stamp and some of this programming in general.· I have a project that I want to have two analog signals control a servo valve.· Any ideas on what type of setup I should use?

    Hi,

    At the risk of jumping in with only minimal information, I'd suggest an LTC1298 chip which will give you 2 12-bit analog ins and is easy to interface to the stamp. Then, an LTC1452 (might have to check that number!) will give you an easy DAC with a voltage output.

    Currently I do not even know too much about the system, however the person that wants this made says it will have sensors connected, a tc and another sensor.· These will be used to control some sort of servo valve.· With PLC's I know what I would use, but with the stamp modules I'm not so sure.· I'll research the models you gave to me and when I find out more I'll post it.· I'm just looking for a starting point.
