Flight Controllers and other flights of fancy

I have gotten into looking at how to take an R/C airplane and automate portions of the flight.

One thing that would be handy is to be able to recieve 4 channels of r/c PWM and observe or modify it.· Then send it on its way.· It would be really nice if a BasicStamp could do that, but I am also looking at the SX-28.

Has anyone done any mixing of PWM?

    George,

Check out "Telemetry Model for RC Aircraft", Dec 2005 issue of Circuit Cellar (pg 32). They use a different chip but the concepts are similar.

    Gunther,

I knew I had seen another article but could not remember where! (grin). Thank you!

The SX Design Context article has been quite useful.
I am currently trying to figure out if I can convert the code to SASM from C.

I am not quite ready for telemetry. I have to get something in the air first.
