Have any of you received your December issue of Nuts & Volts yet?· A couple weeks back Jon Williams mentioned that·his article for the issue was available online, so I'm eagerly anticipating the hard copy in my mail box, and am wondering if any of you are seeing it yet.

Thanks,

Tim

    We put the December article online a litte earlier than usual as we were wrapping up "The Nuts & Volts of BASIC Stamps" book -- available soon, so buy them for your friends. They make great holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, post-Ramadan -- did I miss anybody?) gifts! wink.gif

    Hey there,

    In fact, we have a cover appearance on Servo with our Penguin robot. There's also an article you can download on the same page.

    You can see it here: http://www.parallax.com/html_pages/robotics/penguin.asp

    Back to the original question... no I haven't received my copy of N&V or Servo yet... I called them up. They claim that they are being sent out this week... I guess we will be getting them in a few days or so.

    Thanks for·the follow-through with the phone·call·Steve.· I guess·we·will all have to be patient and watch our mail boxes.· It's just that the magazines·are so good that waiting is tough sometimes, but what a problem to have!· I'm as bad as a little kid....

    Hey Ken,

    Congratulations on the success of the Penquin! I just read the article and was pleasantly surprised that YOU were the one that developed it along with the toddler (I thought the toddler was an outside job). You guys amaze me more every day!

    Christmas is really bad for bulk mail. You have all those Christmas cards, and then there are all the packages too.

    I hope to see my Nuts and Volts about Mid-January. So, I really am depending more on their web version to keep up to date.

    I would never be able to take a quick·peek at the Penguin. {It is really quite charming and just the think for your office desk}
