Maximum Number of USB2SER will Window 2000 support?

I believe win2k will support up to 256 usb devices.· I'm wondering what the maximum number of USB2SER win2k will support being that USB2SER acts like a virtual com port.· Does anyone know?· Thanks for any responses.

    There is at least support for 32 com ports.

    I've had Windows NT 4.0 max out at 16 Serial Ports. Perhaps they've upgraded it a bit since then.
