Look at the schematic below...

I used an 390Ω resistor instead but it didn't work...
Only with this resistor...
Will I fry my stamp

P.S. I use the PIC16C57C and not the stamp module...

    If a 390 ohm works that's fine and it won't hurt the stamp (or PIC). Actually the 68 ohm is kinda on the low side. Usually 220 Ohms is used.
    But I think your schematic is not drawn correctly.

    Well, connecting 3X68Ω resistors was the best I could get...
    Is it ok?

    I was going to say, I've used 220 ohm w/o any issue.
