It's hard to believe the forum moderators deleted your post, especially if it was a reply to help someone with their project. If they did delete it, it might have been by mistake.
You are a good guy BPM, I'm sure there was some sort of misunderstanding.

Feisty, maybe you would like to disclose the contents of your post, in a general manner that is. If you responded, in the post,·by calling somebody an idiot or a mindless jerk, then I do not see how that could of been very helpfull.
·· Just a quick note to let you know we take your comments seriously.· I wanted to clarify when·posts could be deleted and why.· First of all if a post contains rude or offensive content (Or SPAM) that post will most likely be deleted almost immediately.· Taking time to contact the user means more people will see the post.· That's not pointing a finger at anyone, that's just an example.
·· Another, less severe circumstance is if the thread has been posted in more than one forum.· This is considered cross-posting.· This we advise against for many reasons.· First of all it's frustrating to answer someone's post, then to find out later that they already got the answer in the same question on another forum.· It also makes it hard to remember if you've replied to a thread or not, because the next time you see it, you don't see your reply.· You might think it was deleted, when in fact that was another copy of the same thread, which possibly has since been removed for this reason.· So you can see the dilemma here.
·· Finally, off-topic posts are another common thing.· At least 3 times per week I find myself moving threads from the projects forum which are requests for help.· The projects forum is for completed projects only.· This also happens in other forums, such as asking about making PCBs in the BASIC Stamp forum.· These posts would typically be moved to the Sandbox.
·· In all of these cases the user is notified via PM by me when I delete or move a thread.· Not everyone realizes they have a new private message, and so on a few occasions posts had to be moved/removed more than once before the user realized what was happening.· It's very difficult to let everyone know of the move without creating more off-topic messages.· In any event, please understand that the forums rules are posted, and that the content accepted for each forum is listed in the forum description for each forum from the main window.· I hope this helps our forum users understand how we look at certain types of messages and how some are handled.· Remember, there is no personal agenda against any one user.· This is a community.· Take care!

Your reply on this thread about the bug could be offensive to some. This forum has a number of kids around the age of 12-14. Sure, they've seen and heard worse before, but you provided an example of something that our Moderators would consider editing or deleting as "offensive content". Humor is great, but be considerate of how it may be viewed by others.
We want this forum to at least be clean.
