Tap tuning a guitar top-- newbie

I have some knowledge of the basic stamp and have been through WAM etc/ but would like to use a piezo or other sensor in making guitars. The top and assembly of the guitar are "tap tuned" to a particular frequency. Is there a sensor that could be attached to the guitar top that would sense and export a frequency profile when the top is tapped with a piano hammer?

Thanks in advance

Mike

Use a little piezo earphone for the input sensor and an op amp to amplify the signal.
The pickups that are in an electric guitar as well could be used I would think.
