Jon,

What program are you using to draw your schematics?

Thanks,

Mike

Which schematics are you referring to? -- I have three targets for schematics:

    1) Forums: I use ExpressSCH that is part of the package from www.ExpressPCB.com
-- I export a bitmap then open and trim in Paintshop Pro (I wish others would do that....) before saving as a JPG

    2) Parallax docs: We use Corel Draw and have a library of schematic parts; this is best for hi-res printing.

    3) Help files: All done manually with a collection of bitmap schematic parts I've found and added to.

    I should have specified, Forums.

Didn't know ExpressSCH made such clean looking drawings. I'll have to check that out. I've been using Eagle, then a Print Screen into Paint, convert to B&W then getting rid of all the cross hairs. Really a pain to get a drawing into MS Word!

I don't like all of the components (the relay, for example), but it's pretty easy to rebuild them and save them as a custom component.· For a freebie, it's not bad, and I do use ExpressPCB for prototypes from time-to-time..

    Yup,

I need to utilize their mini-board service more than I currently do. For some reason I keep using the "Press'n'Peel" method, brain damage I guess! But when I calculate my time for this method, "Press'n'Peel", it seems like I would be better off using ExpressPCB.

That's my attitude, exactly. ExpressPCB does a very nice job and the turn-around time is great. And with the recent addition of ExpressSCH and a net list output that assists in making the connections on the PCB it's nice little prototyping tool.
