VIKAY dot matrix module <=> BS2e

Hi,
I just found a used 2x40 alphanumeric dot matrix module from VIKAY (now Arianecorp. Seems very, very cool ....and i'm enthousiastic and looking forward to use it [noparse]:)[/noparse]

It's reference is : V0022401 or to be more precise : 2014STLDYGBND
Unfortunately I cant tell what are the controlers (at least 3 because of its size).

I think i've found the datasheet, which is quit not clear to me :

They say it might be a samsung controler, but no certitude...
I have the pin description, but I dont know commands, etc..

Please help...

Do you think a BS2e can control this LCD and if yes, how ?

I've just counted the i/o pins (14) and search in google 'for 14 pin lcd' and found this : http://www.myke.com/lcd.htm
Seems the controler is an Hitatchi 44780....because of the similitudes in the pin# & functions. But, do you think there is only one controler ?

Probably, just use any of our LCD examples that will run on the BS2. For fairly recent code, download the newest version of our StampWorks book.

Remember to make adjustments to the BS2 code to account for your 2e...reset and inter-nibble or -byte timing, ya' know....
