JIDE detects only 2 com ports

Has anyone else experienced this?

Desktop PC running Win2K,
BoeBot connected to Keyspan USB Serial Adapter (USA19H),
Keyspan detects connection to com4,
Latest JIDE

Fire-up JIDE and select Identify and it scans com1 and com2 only.

Then I try Test Connection. Output is: [Debug] TSXComm: AutoChoosePort - unsuccessful.

I can't get the JIDE to scan beyond com2.

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Edit your port list.

Inside ide program: Projects -> Global Options

    Tab Debugger.

    Thanks, Peter.

I tried that and it found the Javelin Stamp on port 4. However, I get an error that says [Error IDE-0052] Incompatible firmware revision ($f).

Never mind. I just read through the Error Codes pdf that Ryan Clarke posted. I'll download the latest IDE and see what happpens.

    Strange!

I downloaded the latest JIDE (2.0.3) and still get [Error IDE-0052] Incompatible firmware revision ($f).

The only way to trick it out is to power-off the BoeBot, click Program and then wait until the JIDE displays Resetting Javelin.

    Wonder what that means?

Set the latency for that Keyspan comport in com port settings of windows to a minimum.

    That should minimalize any delay.
