Has anyone ever tried to interface a TI-85 or other TI calc to the BASIC stamp. I tried to make the $5 serial TI-85 cable circuit but could not get it to work. Just wondering if it is possible to access the LCD?

I don't have a TI-85 but I thought about this before and checked into. If I recall the TI-85 is not true serial data, I don't recall exactly do a search and see if you can find more details. I think the data is clocked in somehow, but I don't remember.

There is a couple of circuits that appear to use I2C using SDA (Data I/O), SDL (CLOCK)·and GND (GROUND).

·· Data, Clock & Ground could also indicate an SPI (Synchronous Serial) device which could be controlled via SHIFTIN/SHIFTOUT.· You may have to do a little more digging though.
