Ok, I give up on the search.
A couple of weeks ago (???) I thought Ken announced the availability of a lower priced SX-Key (normal sx-key is $79)·designed to be used in a production environment and without debug capabilities.
I tried Forum search on
Ken Gracey
SX Key, debug
Then I tried product search on
sx debug
Then I went to SX web site and clicked on
SX Chips and Tools.
Programming Kits
Where else should I have looked?
P.S. Ken, may I suggest that it show up·on at least ONE of the links under www.parallax.com/sx !· Please.·

Yes, the search results on the built-in dotnetBB software we use are drain bread.
If you really want to get results use our new Google machine (that's right - they shipped us this big blue rack-mounted system) at:
http://search.parallax.com
As you noted, our SX situation is evolving quite a bit right now. There's a new SX Blitz (design just finished, sending it to production next week) which we will sell at a very low cost of $29-49. Your students will be able to afford it because it will be less than a book. We'll get the web page brought up to speed soon.
Thanks,
Ken Gracey
