BS2P working with two Shift Register 74HC595

Hello,
I have·lack of·BS2P ports for driving lots of LED so·I·use 2 IC 74HC595 Shift register helpping.
In the Stampwork manual have this application written.
Each 74HC595 have 3 input (P0 ·P1 ·P2) (D_out ·Clock ·Latch)
If I use two 74HC595 is it possible·to use·only 4 or 5 ports to control them
Like having a line common.
It would be·very·nice if you post·me an·easy schemetic

I guess you missed the part in StampWorks that shows how to connect two or more 75HC595s with the same three I/O pins.· That's okay, we've just updated the book and you can get a PDF of the book here:
