This article is very interesting because i'm doing (read: trying to do) a similar project. So the minute i saw the article, i jumped right into it.
Please excuse my lack of experience with the Basic Stamp, but isn't the 22K resistor supposed to be switched in series with the P2 connection, rather than being switched in parallel?
The way it's connected now, it doesn't seem to protect the P2 port, as in restricting current. In other words, i'm afraid this circuit will blow·the P2 port·on your BS2. (But i could be wrong on this).
I hope that somebody can clear this up? Thanks!
