I have a few questions about the 74xx244 buffers

This is the non-inverting buffer.

Ok, let's assume this IC has a 12ns propagation delay.

If I make A0 high, then 12ns later, Y0 become high...right?

Now, if I make A0 low does it also take 12ns before Y0 goes to low? Or is it immediate?

Thanks!

Depending on the technology (LS, F, HC, etc) the high to low and low to high propagation delay can be different, if only one value·(Tpd)·is given, it is the same value for both transistions, so it would be 12ns in both instances.
