Using 2 Sonar Pingers for Location

Hi,
I'm planning on using 2 sonar pingers placed approxiamately 45 degrees from each other for tracking purposes in order to locate other robots in a sumo competition. I was wonderin if anyone has any helpful hints as to avoid interference with each other and what not. I dont need an exact range, if i can filter out everything that is farther than 3 feet or so thats fine.
Any hints, or even better, example code? Thanks!

·· If you pulse them one at a time, then you shouldn't have any problems.
