·I tried to run the basic code.

At first attempt I was able to run it. but after I saved it to the desktop and run it again it gave me <no basic stamp found>.

In the identification COM1 is identified. There is 'Yes' both <loopback, echo>

I unchecked the FIFO buffers in the COM1 port but still I could not get the result.

Do you have another Serial port? On one of my PCs, COM1 never recognized the Stamp... so I tried COM2, and it worked. I don't know why... confused.gif

Have you tried changing the battery?· That is the most common reason for boards that work, then don't, unless you have damaged something in between.· Even if the LED comes on there might not be enough power for the BASIC Stamp to program.
