Javelin Stamp IDE messes up my other Java compiler?

For the first time after I installed the Javelin Stamp IDE, I wanted to use my other java compiler(BlueJ), and it was REALLY slow. It takes even a long time to compile the simplest programs. Could these two programs be conflicting together? The javelin stamp IDE works fine (to the best of my knowledge).
