Is a colorburst crystal always 3.579...Mhz? Are they the ones used with the cm8880 DTMF IC?

    And yes, they're the ones used in the CM8880 and MT8880 ICs.

    I thought the CM8880 and the MT8880 were the same...????

    No, they're compatible, but not identical.· The CM8880 was discontinued.
