BS1 Proj Board -- +5V

· I'm using a BS1 Project Board, in lieu of a BS1-IC (becuse I don't have any of those), in an application here at work.· Is it OK to power the ProjBd via the output connector (bringing in·+5V & GND at VDD & Vss respectively)?· It seems to be working (the LED comes on and it's running.)
· I was just wondering if the output of the ProjBd's buck regulator is OK with that.· Am I harming it?
· It looks like my application is a winner, so when I make more I'll use BS1-ICs.

Then I'll place this one out at an intersection and see how well we do.· It's a stop-gap for situations where people drive off of the loop (detection) and into or past the cross-walk, but where using "locking detection" would eat up a lot more time ("max'ing the phase out.")· This will hold a call, if one occurs during Red time,·till the Green turns on.
