I still use wire wrap because purchasing etched boards, purchasing etch equiptment all cost more than
for me to just go buy some wire wrap wire...
(plus I have an almost limitless supply of DIP wire wrap terminals)
Also I like the fact that I can reuse the wire, the terminals, and the chips.. Nothings permanent, but still better than breadboard.
Anyone have good places to purchase wire wrap stuff?

Wirewrap is superior to the plastic prototype boards.

·· Yes, some of us still wire-wrap...I used to do it for 6502, 6809 and Z80 boards, but now I rarely use it (But once in awhile).· I still keep 3 different colored spools of wire-wrap wire handy in my parts bins, as well as sockets of every popular size for wire-wrapping.

It certainly is one of the neatest ways to prototype. Now I have too solder, etc. Those Power wrappers turn up at flea markets and ham swaps. Definitely an excellent purchase at $10 for three.
I think I will go have a good cry.
