What is the current state of C compilers for the SX?

Does anybody have any prctical experience / recommendations for C compilers for the SX?

Also, a question for Parallax. Will there be any efforts with third party vendors to expand the offerings for C compilers for the SX when the new chips are in?

Kevin,

I'll answer your question as the person in charge of C compiler integration into our SX-Key. We're currently reviewing one last option, after the prior two proved inappropriate due to business reasons, expectations from the supplier or plain and simple technical limitations. Resolving whether or not there will be a good C compiler for the SX is a top priority at Parallax and I hope to have a straight answer on our plan by the middle of November.
