Can someone tell me how much current a Parallax PLC can handle when driving it's outputs? I want to interface it to a 24V-DC Latching relay and will be Pulsing the· output to drive the relay. Also, will I need to install a protection diode since the outputs I believe are optically isolated?

Im confused, your title refers to the PDB, your post refers to the PLC, which are you asking about?

    Hello,

·· As per the manual, the outputs of the PLC are controlled by a chip inside which is listed in a table on the last page of the docs which tells the current handling capability of that chip.· There are three configurations available, so you should double-check.
