Help with my Boe Bot Project.

I would like to put five GP2D12 sensors to work on·my bot.· Two in front, one on each side and one on the back.· The way I have them wired will take all of my pins (3 for each sensor) which leaves me with none to operate my servo's.· I have looked (and not found) how to stack Stamps.·

Also, when I get the front two working, the refresh rate is not quick enough to be reconized by the program to allow avoidance.·

I am sure that I am not doing something wrong, so please point this beginner in the right direction.· mad.gif

Thanks

I would like this to be a class project but they dont allow old men like me in class.tongue.gif

I read both of those post, but see nothing in them that addresses how to get multiple stamps to talk to each other.· I am intriged with the idea of using one pin for multiple sensors, but with my limited electronics knowledge I dont know how to pruse this.·

If you point me in the right direction for either, I would appreciate.

That should have read "I am sure that I AM DOING something wrong".. And I proof read this before I submitted it!!!

I AM NOT SHOUTING. I HAVE FOUND IT MUCH EASIER TO READ AND TYPE ALL CAPS FOR OVER 55 YEARS.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING NETWORKING WITH MICROS, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU READ AND STUDY THESE FIRST. IT COULD SAVE YOU A LOT OF DESIGN TIME. WHY REINVENT THE WHEEL?

    Don,

·· I'm sorry, I thought you wanted to read 5 sensors, not network 5 Stamp Modules.· Those posts tell how to read multiple GP2D12 Sensors with one ADC.

I may have not made myself clear.· I was looking for an either or case.· Until today, I did not know that I could have multiple sensors output to one pin.· That is my preferred method, but knowing how to network stamps will help me also.·

    Thanks
