So The IR Detector from parallax has a bandpass filter limiting the detector to the 38KHz range from what i understand, How can I get a different IR detector to work on more frequencies? I am trying to connect the detector with the stamp on the boe etc, to the Opta Scope so i can view details about other IR transmitters I have handy. Any suggestions?

    Do a Google on IR Detectors and you should get alot of results; at least I did.

    Try this search term at www.digikey.com - infrared kHz. Then, follow the Infrared detectors/modules link.· The next page should give you choices of Panasonic and Sharp. Both have recievers for most IR remote frequencies.
