USB stamp connection

My USB·used to always connect to the stamp2 BOE. But lately when I've tried to connect there is a hardware failure. I reinstalled the FTDI driver, but no luck. When I click the run button in the stamp editor the program just says, "Scanning," and never finds the stamp. This happens whether the stamp is turned on or off. Kevin.

    If it is happening with/without the stamp, it sounds like there is a short somewhere.· Check your cables/connectors to make sure there are no irregularities...then check to verify that your stamp is actually recieving power.

    What version of the editor are you using?· What COM Port was assigned to the USB Adapter?· Have you turned down the Latency setting?
