how do you connect a sharp gp2d120 object detector to a basic stamp2 without a ADC0831?

and how can one connect more than one aswell?

    Hello,

    ·· You don't need an ADC0831, but you will need an Analog To Digital converter of some sort.· I would use an ADC0834 which has 4 channels and is compatible with the ADC0831.· The reason being is that there is code already available for these sensors on our website.· The fact is the output from this sensor is non-linear, and requires some math to get decent distance readings.· If you use something else, you will have to calculate that.· Anyway the ADC0834 should allow you to read 4 of these sensors.
