Connecting Javelin to a GPS sensor (USB male)

I'd like to connect a GPS receiver to my Javelin to be able to read GPS coordinates. The GPS reciever (check this website www.gpsoz.com.au/global_sat_usb.htm) has a male USB connector and my problem is that I don't know how to connect them together. I was thinking that maybe using a RS232 to USB (female) adapter will fix my problem, but I can't find such a convertor anywere. Have anyone any idea about this?

That device is a USB slave. The javelin can not be a USB master, hence you

can not connect that device to the javelin.

Try to find a serial based gps receiver. Those you can connect to

the javelin.

I'm currently working on a project trying to interface a GPS with the Javelin Stamp. Here's the unit we're working with:

It has a serial output mode, but we're still fiddling with the details so I'm not 100% sure it would work for exactly what you want. Good luck with the project.

Thanks for your reply. I managed to find another solution to my Javelin-GPS problem. I purchased a GPS module, check this webpage: www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=163 and it works nice.
