I liked that balancing robot project. The guy who made that was on to something, a shame he didn't give it the hollywood treatment. I would've made it so the robot would be moving back and forth pretty fast (kinda like a real person balancing the stick), instead of just drifting in one direction. With the speed of the SX i think you could do just about any kind of HIGH speed millisecond precision balancing calculations.
As soon as we receive Parallax-labelled SX chips we will prepare to launch the next SX Design Contest (2006). This should be in the November-December timeframe.
