Embedded Microdrive Info

I was sitting around recently wondering how hard it would be to interface an SX52 with an IDE hard drive, so I did some research. I came across a document on Hitachi's website for embedding a microdrive. They give a sample circuit and assembly code for interfacing with an 8051, but it looks like there is enough there to get the ideas moving, if anybody is interested. Here is the link for the document page:

1 - Thanks for the link.
2 - There is a format button above the compose message area that lets you turn a link into an actual working link. It makes things like your URL:
http://www.hitachigst.com/tech/techlib.nsf/techdocs/184CEC3CD133A1C886256DCC0057244F
become a click-able link:

3 - So, are you going to pursue this and share your project with the rest of the forum when you finish?
Thanks, PeterM
Thanks for the URL tip. I didn't notice the button. As for a project, I can't do anything right now, which is why I posted.

Too bad, because it sounds like a pretty interesting project.
