All kidding aside about the tossing him out, I had a nice time meeting "the Bean" too and we're probably going to do a bit of co-development on some fun SX/B projects.· Keep your eyes on the SX/B forum for some fun stuff to come.

Bean,

You should have been holding the big box of boards, sensors and progamming tools you took home.

Even after 2.5 days of having the Bean guy hang around we were just getting started with our discussions. By the time his wife called and told him it was time to get back to the airport we were in the middle of showing him the new . . um. . stuff we're·. . um.

The only problem Bean had at Parallax was his·self-restrictive, all-American diet. Bean didn't fare well at the Vietnamese restaurant or anywhere else that didn't have pizza, steaks or burgers. So, the tech guys accompanied him to Pizza Hut on day two since he was starting to disintegrate after too much exposure to foreign food. Poor guy didn't even get to·try our favorite sushi restaurant.

Bean and anybody else is always welcome to visit us at Parallax.

Sid,
Yeah I kept looking around for St. Peter ;) He must have been on vacation ?
And Ken kept twisting my arm to take some boards and sensor and stuff (guess they needed the room) hee hee
Just kidding I gave Ken the 2005 Parallax catalog and said "Here's my list".

I was really not taking to the Lemon chicken. I ate three pieces and thought "If I up-chuck in from of all these people (about 12 were there) I'm never going to be able to show my face at Parallax again", so I stopped and put some sugar on my rice and ate it. It was an adventure anyway. The rice was good though. Next time I visit I'll have to take some scrapple down for them to eat. I just won't tell them what's in it.

Bean.

Yes, we all got a big laugh out of the sugar-on-rice thing, and that was discussed in the halls for a few days after you went back home. Too late on the scrapple ... you divulged that gnarly recipe at lunch one day. I think you'd upset the TSA and airline folks if you tried traveling with that stuff!

Bean,
Don't listen to 'em! I know scrapple is good stuff 'specially sliced thin
and fried up golden brown. A little ketchup on it is the way I take mine. smile.gif
Shame I can't get some of the good scrapple 'round here. RAPA mail orders
from the Right Coast in the winter months though. Just thinking of a
scrapple sandwich has got my taste buds just a goin' !!! MMMMmmmmmm....
