Guitar Tuner and a BS2 ?

I would like to know if someone could point me towards any Freq. to Voltage type designs that use a BS2 as the PIC ? Such as a guitar tuner that uses BS2. I have a pretty good understanding of the software/math behind various PC-based pitch detection algorithms, but I am pretty much lost when it comes to hardware/PIC approachs and I think hooking up a BS2 app will greatly increase my understanding. I did find some assembler based PIC designs on the net, but so far nothing 'Basic Stamp' based.
