· Take a look @ what Mr. "TechnoRobbo" did for a Guitar tuner...·BS2 Universal Guitar Tuner Project .Version 2.0·...Its in the Completed Projects forum..pg.7 as of this postreply 11/7/08....I think it will be of Asst. in Your project....I have'nt tried this out, But I was looking for something to start My#1 son out on:"HardWare" ...He's Taking to programin like a fish to water,But needs some hardware Exp....Thought this link would Be of Help too You....Thier is A schematic,A board layout,Some Code,ETC.
