BS2 Breadboard / Digital Compass

I have a BOE but wanted to make my own so that I could leave projects on one while experimenting with the other. I also wanted one with a little more room on it. So I converted a large breadboard into a permanent BS2 experiment board. It has a 9V installed with a power switch and LED indicator, but can also be powered by power supply through the banana plugs on the board. To program it, I just plug my custom seral port to four pin adapter cable.
The project currently installed is a digital compass using the Hitachi HM55B compass module. It turns the correct LED on depending on the direction of the board. I originally had the compass module plugged directly into the breadboard, but the metal base was interfering with the earth's magnetic force. I found that raising the module up about four inches using beardboard wires gave a pretty accurate reading.
