I thought about using the MG1101, but, decided on the Analog-Devices Yaw Rate Gyros.
The MG1101 just had too much drift... 2 degrees/second, Plus I had trouble with their dealer not wanting to sell in small quantities.
I bought the Gyros from Digi-Key for a little under $50.
Someone told me they are cheaper, direct from Analog-Devices.
They also have Dual Axis Accelerometers for about $9!
No initalization needed, just interfaced with the A/D converter.
I understand PWM Output units are also available.
