Hello,
I'm a eagle's user from France since one month.
I'm working on a schematic whith component came from differents libraries.
I want to update the components with only one librarie.
When I use the UPDATE command, i can update one library by another new one.
But for the second library, EAGLE doesn't want update with a library always in the schematic.
Have you some idea to help me?
thks

    Hi Kasyx

Have a look through an earlier post "Cadsoft Eagle libraries". CADsoft have an set of technical literature which includes a good PDF on just this topic.

    Kind regards from Kwa Dukuza

I do not exactly understand what you mean by updating several libraries at once (maybe something lost in translation). Ive found that doing the update function does not effect alreadly laid components, meaning when I change a library I have to rip up components already laid out in order to reflect the change. I do not know if this is the intended method of working or if it is a bug.

Consolidation of libraries isn't that hard, but it is tedious with the copying and pasting and resconstitution of parts. Supposedly (I haven't played with it yet) there is now a drag-and-drop functionality for moving library elements as of v4.15. There are lots of very helpful people on the Eagle support forums (linked from their website).
