What do you think of my board design

this is the first time i have used this program (expressPCB).· i have redrawn this flie about 6 times and i think it actually looks good now.· I have never taken any schooling foro pcb layout, but despite that, it looks good.

    Did you start from a schematic and export a netlist to ensure all your connections are correct? I was very pleased that ExpressPCB added this feature.

    Yes i did. that makes life so easy. where you able to open the file? i am very proud of the design.

    I didn't actually open the file, I just asked because I see errors when people simply go straight to layout instead of starting with a schematic. Like you, I really enjoy the newer version of ExpressPCB and use it for prototyping all the time.

    One comment I will make: You should consider orienting your text (silkscreen) in the same direction for each plane, that way you don't have to turn the board "upside-down" to read compoent numbers for a given axis.· To be specific, I would suggest making all of your labels readable when either U1 is at the North position, or the DB-9 is at the North position -- your current board has labels on the same axis that are updside-down from each other.
