Guys,
Need some help here...· I now have some FRAM chips, but the "thing-a-ma-jig" has the type of leads that are for the mass produced boards.· I need some way to connect this chip to my basic stamp, but my soldering abilities are not good enough to make this work.
Is there an adapter out there that I could use to make this chip work?· Any ideas?· I was excited to get the chips, but I don't know how to connect to them.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Do you have a Stamp Tester yet?

Check your email. I will also post a link to the spec sheet here for information.....

Thanks again!
Ramtron was kind enough to send me some old DIP chips FM24C64-P and I have not yet hooked them up. I will be interested to see your circuit connections and code so I can make mine work. Wouldn't mind tradeing them for something else, I don't really need them but I do want to learn how to use them so the 64k chips will work for that. I read the datasheet but I am not good enough to figure it out yet.
If you will be discussing these chips here, it would be a nice lesson in reading the datasheet and having someone translate that into laymans terms (So I can understand it) .
